Tranquil Setting

The house is located on a working farm/vineyard, right across from the VX tasting room. Becca, the manager could not have been better. We had a small issue with the hot tub, and she took care of it right away. bed are super comfy, and the kitchen is large and well stocked with a variety of cooking hardware, which is something that we took full advantage of instead of going out for dinners every night. The area is amazing. Tons of stuff to do, including the almost limitless wineries in the area. leave all your cares back home, come out and relax!

Relaxing Get-Away

This house is literally smack dab in the middle of wine country. The location was perfect and the grounds peaceful and amazing. We stayed over labor day weekend, so the wine tasting room was closed Sunday and Monday, which was nice because it made it even more private for our group. (we arrived just in time Saturday to try the wines, though). You are literally surrounded by nature and fresh air. The house comes stocked with everything you need. We were happy to see a grill so we picked up some steak and corn to throw on the grill to go with our wine. Weather was perfect and we spent most of our time outside on the numerous decks/porches that this house has to offer. The house had plenty of space for our party of 5. My contact with Becca was fantastic, she was very responsive and even had suggestions for various wineries in the area. Baranna (at the tasting room) was friendly, and really was knowledgeable about the wines. We even got to meet one of the horses owners, Heather, who works at another nearby winery. Everyone we met on property - friendly and helpful. The house has alot of character, and reminded me of my family home back in Missouri. Its an older home, but has everything you need - even an indoor hot tub! Plenty of space to spread out and relax. If you stay here, I recommend pouring yourself a nice big glass of Pinot Noir and wandering around the grounds - go see the horses, the vineyard and the trails. Take the time to soak in the quiet beauty of this place. Oh, and the beds . . so comfortable! I never am able to sleep well on any other bed but my own (we have a waterbed) but I can attest, the king sized bed in the upper master bedroom was super comfortable. I slept as well as I did at home. The other members of our party agreed that the beds were surprisingly comfortable. All in all, I would recommend this house. When we go back (and we will be back), I’ll be staying here again.

Authentic Country Home-Great Value

Beautiful tranquil setting in a lovely area of the Willamette Valley. Really comfortable beds, fantastically large and comfortable master bedroom. Very well-stocked kitchen. Clean floors, carpets and bathrooms. As all old houses do, it does have a musty smell. This would probably only bother those with allergies to this. I would definitely stay here again.

Had an amazing time!

This property is beautiful, secluded and unique. I’ve never stayed anywhere quite like this, and I was so impressed with the house! It is an older home, but it is well maintained and we loved all the natural light and decks available for enjoying coffee or wine, depending on the time of day. Each room was set up to receive the guests with towels and other amenities, and everything was clean and ready for us. The directions into the property and how to enter the house were spot on and much appreciated! I personally wasn’t able to attend the free wine tasting, but those that did said it was a lot of fun and really enjoyed that extra perk. I would definitely come back here again if I ever needed a quiet relaxing holiday from the craziness of everyday life. If I am able to come back, I’d love to stay for much longer so I can actually take advantage of all this property has to offer and explore the ground some more.
